Camp for kids grades 4-9 at the KO turf field 8:30-4:30pm $500

Players of all skill levels will benefit from in-depth instruction and practice that fosters confidence, persistence, and teamwork. Through a variety of skill-building drills, competitive play, and fun games on KO’s beautiful artificial turf, players will develop and refine their field hockey skills. They will focus on essential techniques such as stick work, passing, various hits, push, flick, and aerials, while also improving their offensive and defensive positioning and transition game. Throughout the week, campers will gain confidence by mastering new skills and pushing through challenges, learning that persistence is key to improvement.

Each day includes two instructional sessions, allowing players to refine their skills in a smaller, focused setting before applying them to larger competitive play in the afternoon. Emphasis will be placed on circle play, game transitions, and effective communication on the field. As players practice dodges, pulls, and timing, they will also focus on building fitness—strengthening flexibility, footwork, and core stability to enhance their performance. By the end of the week, campers will have gained new skills, a deeper understanding of the game, and a strategy to elevate their field hockey experience through teamwork and continued effort.
